Manganari is a chain of sandy coves on the remote southern coast, where low rocky islets shelter exceptionally clear, shallow water. The gentle entry and quieter atmosphere suit families and long, unhurried swims, while seasonal tavernas make a full-day visit practical. The journey from Chora is longer than for most beaches, but the calm setting is the reward.
