Who we are

IloveIos is the data controller for iloveios.gr, a travel directory for Ios, Greece. Privacy requests can be sent through our contact form or by email to [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you:

• send a general or advertising enquiry;
• request a business listing;
• upload photographs with a listing request; or
• sign in to the restricted administration area.

This can include your name or business name, email address, telephone number, message, website, and uploaded images. Our hosting providers may also process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser, requested URL, and request time for security and reliability.

How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, review listing requests, operate the directory, prevent abuse, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell information submitted through our forms.

Legal bases

We process enquiries and listing requests to take steps you ask us to take before providing a service, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and responding through the directory. We process information where needed to comply with legal obligations. Where advertising or non-essential storage requires consent, you may withdraw that consent through the consent controls.

Service providers and advertising

Supabase provides database, authentication, and file-storage services. Our server and network providers process requests needed to deliver the site. If advertising is enabled, Google AdSense may process device and usage information in accordance with Google's policies. In regions where consent is required, advertising is enabled only after a Google-certified consent platform has been configured.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we require an applicable transfer safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We normally retain enquiries and unapproved listing-request uploads for up to 12 months. Approved material may remain published until the listing is removed or replaced. A record may be retained longer where necessary for a legal obligation, dispute, or legal claim.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We normally respond within one month and may ask for information needed to verify your identity.

You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr or to the supervisory authority where you live or work.

Required information and automated decisions

Fields marked as required are needed for us to review or respond to a submission. You do not have to submit a form, but we may be unable to respond without those details. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing.
